About Us

Disclosure

Disclosure is a young start-up software development and IT consultancy firm located in South Dublin. Disclosure was set up as a company with a specific stress on agile software development with a constant feedback from the client on the current developments of the project. We consider that it is important for development of a quality software product that the client has an opportunity to rapidly evaluate features as they get implemented in the product on an on-going basis.

Our approach is to keep the client in the loop of the recent developments and give them a chance to test the product even before it is fully completed. Our experience in the area of software development has shown to a large extent that it is advantageous to have the initial product released for testing as soon as the core functionality is implemented. Afterwards all the new features are added according to the sense-and-respond approach in the form most optimal for the client requirements. Participation of future users of the system is highly encouraged at this stage as it will allow to build a more user friendly system.

Our Process

1
Suggest Initial Design

Normally our work starts with a preliminary design. That would include a creation of an ER diagram for applications involving a database and a sketch of GUI.

2
Build Functional Core

After the initial layout is ready we start working on an initial prototype which, while basic, already has the core capabilities and could even be used in production.

3
Develop Incrementally

When the prototype is ready and some testing is underway, non-essential features are incrementally added to make it look more and more like a finished application.

4
Complete Presentation

When all the functionality planned is complete, final stages include finishing touches on GUI and deployment on the client's site. Documentation is written at this stage too.
